HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Yep, I chopped off a few more inches!!!

Once I start cutting my hair I can’t stop…I would love to go shorter but I just can’t rock a pixie cut! After years of growing my hair out it feels good to have it short again. I love change! Although, I do miss the “yoga bun”.

I’m very lucky because I hit the hairdresser jackpot. Not only is my mum a hairdresser but so is my best-friend Shelby. This cut was done by Shelby and I love it!

Thought I’d do a quick post and say hi! We hope everyone is enjoying the Holiday season.

I’ve been busy cooking in the RAD test kitchen working on recipes to share with you guys as well as working on a bunch of exciting ideas that I will start sharing in the New Year! Confession – I have also been writing a lot of posts and then not posting them…I’m working really hard on my self-doubt and resistance issues. I know that 2014 is going to be the year I learn to truly love myself. Self-love is a big struggle for me and through my years of being a makeup artist and owning a clothing store I know I am not the only one.

So my hope is that sharing my journey to self-love I can inspire others to do the same. I have sooooo much more to say on this but I have to go pack.

We head to Vancouver Island in a few hours! So excited to spend a few weeks with our family and friends. We do love Grande Prairie. Wow, can’t believe I just said that, but we do. We have rad friends here and even though it’s cold it’s almost always bright and sunny. So as long as you avoid being outside to long the cold is not all that bad. Don’t get me wrong I would be happy to never have to brush snow off my car and Gary would love to not have to shovel again. But it’s all perspective and the good definitely outweighs the bad.

Bye bye Alberta, see ya soon BC!

Love, C

  • Thank you for being so open about your self love, it’s somehow reassuring to me to know a smart, fun, successful, caring woman like you also has these issues to work through.

Thank you for saying that Mish. Your comment makes me feel so much better. It was hard to post that but I was hoping in sharing my struggles and the ways I find to work through them it would help others. We all deserve to love ourselves unconditionally. xoxx
